For several weeks now, I’ve been composing (“film”) music for a live reading by my friend and author Volker Schmitt. Together, we’ll perform the results on stage at the Centralkomitee in Hamburg on November 18. He and the illustrator Màriam Ben-Arab have been working on this for several years, and the result is a wonderful story about how to discuss the state of our world with children. We’re really excited and can’t wait to present the whole thing to you!
Artistic rediscovery
At the end of 2025, I was involved in a life-threatening accident. Fortunately, one of my best friends acted quickly and administered first aid. Thanks to this, many(!) kind-hearted(!) people, and some very fortunate circumstances, I was able to recover from nearly all complications and aftereffects. As a result I have resumed my musical work and will show new stuff by the right time. So stay tuned!
